I tried to do some painting today, but conditions are very difficult and time is limited.
A strong breeze has been blowing ever since we left the shores of Curacao, and short sharp waves have been breaking over the sides, or I should say, bulwarks, owing to there being only 6 feet of free-board (height of main deck from water level).
I was sorting out my drawers yesterday when I came across one of Patience Strong’s “Quiet Corners” on a piece of paper used to cover the drawer-bottom.
To quote one passage:-
“When dear one’s are in danger – and we must stand aside – to wait, to watch, to witness – heart-breaking and hands tied. We fall back on God’s mercy…….”
