SAILED FOR?

It seems likely that we shall go to “Barry Roads” in S.W. The convoy is pretty big – there being 69 ships in all. We are Commodore of the “Barry Roads” section, and hence have a Canadian signaller (navy) on board. Although our receiver has been sealed owing to reradiation by oscillation, the old man has decided to break the seal (!) so we shall be on W/T watch. All the broadcast sets have been condemned for the same reason though this has been in force for some time.
