28th July 1941
There has been no fog today, though the weather has been dull and cloudy; the sea, a mod. Beam swell.
This morning, after much lamp signalling, we were told that the slow convoy which we met in the Belle Isle Straits, was going to join us. This has been accomplished now, making the total number of ships around the 75 mark, which is pretty big.
