31st July 1941
The weather has been considerably rougher today, though not exceptionally so.
There are now approx. 90 ships in the convoy as more ships have arrived. The total area covered by the convoy is 25 sq miles assuming that every ship is in its correct station. Probably it is nearer 30 sq miles.
