No.1 came back last night, so today we all set too on the wireless gear and batteries. The room was in a terrible mess because of a telephony receiver being installed yesterday. The W/T room is very up to date and has all the latest gear. No.1 seems ok as far as can be seen at present. He is 30 years old.

He hasn’t been with any of this gear before. We had most of it on the “Empire Splendour”.

This evening George and I went to the ice rink in the hopes of some skating, but unfortunately there was only dancing, so we went to Falkirk to see Walt Disney’s film “Victory Through Air Power”.
