31st March 1944
The wind has blown pretty hard all day but we have succeeded in regaining the convoy after a chase lasting 12 hours. This evening the wind increased and veered to a few points off the starboard beam. We are rolling very heavily n ow because of this, though not so badly as the Ethel, despite our cargo of iron ore which is one of the worst for rolling.
