A WREN officer came aboard this morning and indicated that we would be leaving on Sunday or Monday in a fast convoy.

That means about 10 days crossing time.

We have several American army fellows aboard, including an American army surgeon.

We also have an RNR gunnery officer.

The weather has been dull and cloudy all day. We had action stations and boat stations today. My action station is in the emergency wireless room. We also have an emergency wireless room in one of the lifeboats.
