6th March 1942

The weather was a little clearer this morning (though still pretty cold), and we managed to join up successfully with the other sections of the convoy.

We in the wireless room, are on a slightly different kind of watch to the usual.

Provided we steer a straight course from now, we should leave the convoy in 10 days.

Snow came on again late this afternoon, and has been very thick up to now (midnight). It has caused much interference in the way of atmospherics, on the radio.

The radio telephony set was tested with one of the escort ships. All signals were fine and clear.
