14th March 1942
The wind has risen on the starboard side now, and we are rolling very slightly. The “British Resource” has been torp’d. in the general direction that we shall have to take for the Delaware.
We think we should break convoy either tomorrow or on Monday, a fortnight of it, against the 4 days of old!
We expect to arrive in Phil. Either Thursday or Friday.
