Iris and I went to Purley to do some shopping this morning. In the afternoon we went to see Deanna Durbin in “Christmas Holiday” at Leicester Square. When we got back, a wire told me we were sailing at 10am tomorrow. I had to catch the 0900 train and only just managed it. I “slept” on the station from 0000 till 0600 and then caught the 0630 naval launch out to the ship. We expect to go to London from here.
