Dad had the day off so we went up to London at about 11am.

Called in at Guy’s hospital to see whether I could see Eric, but he had moved to Orpington. He hurt his knee at rugger. Afterward, Dad and I had lunch and went to see Bud Abbott and Lou Costello in  “Lost in a Harem” which was most frightfully amusing.

In the evening we played table tennis.
