Yesterdays lovely weather, terminating at a very wonderful sunset, has been replaced by a not so nice a day. In fact, although it is sunny now, when I came off at 5 am, there seemed to be something which looked like a cloudburst on the horizon. I’m glad it doesn’t rain like that at home.

The hour has gone back once more making it 10 hours difference between your time at home, and hours here.

The pencil of iodine and plaster has come in very useful indeed. The other day I found I have been bitten by something, underneath my watch strap. It didn’t look too good and ached rather badly, so I administered first aid, and now it is okay. Yesterday evening I was cutting an orange with my pen knife, which I had just sharpened, and cut myself rather badly. Once more it came in useful.
