It has been dull and misty rain all day. I’ve got my room back completely into shape again. It looks considerably better.

We arrived off the Needles and Alum Bay at 1100. I could see very clearly (we were close) the very spot where we picnic’d in 1935 with Auntie Molly and U. Reg G. it was deserted.
