We did think that we might have to leave the ship this evening, but fortunately the orders were changed and now we expect to leave in the morning. I spent the morning in cycling around Toulon and doing a little sketching. I passed by the German prisoner of war camp and it looked pretty terrible. These soldiers were wondering about in forlorn groups xxx and looked very dejected. This evening, I spent in packing and cleaning my room.
