We had a message of a sub. being sighted off Berbera which is about 75 miles from Aden.

At 4 pm I transferred to the ex-4th mate’s cabin, which is to be my permanent home from now onwards.

I am very comfortably settled in and there is a very admirable desk which suits my drawing needs perfectly. The whole room is far more suitable to me than John’s cabin and yet we tossed for it!
