13th September 1942

I drew this morning, did some Building Construction this afternoon and went to a service at the mission in town during the evening.

The service consisted of “first chow” from the women of the church, and then a talk from an assistant surgeon. Everything was very impromptu and we only sat as we were in armchairs, etc. We sang one or two hymns, and that was the end! On the whole it was a very enjoyable evening.
