14th November 1942
Still the cargo will not be finished until 7 pm! We are supposed to leave tomorrow but it will almost certainly be Monday evening. It poured with rain during the afternoon. This is the first rain we have seen for. 3 months.
In the morning, John and I visited the “Sirsa”, another B.I. Ship, and saw one of the chaps he came out with. I also met a gunlayer of hers who was on the old “Carelia”. He said he came through in the Mediterranean convoy which was bombed for five days on its way to Malta.
