9th June 1943

A launch took us ashore at 1 pm to the football ground, & had a mat wicket. We got 23 1st innings & 27 the 2nd after the Singapore team had retired at 63 for 7, as we came back.

After a very nice tea, we were given a bag of fruit & pleasant surprise.
