We arrived at Suez early this morning. A very cool breeze was blowing & it was grand to feel that the colder weather was at last within our reach.

We moved up to a different anchorage during this afternoon. There are quite a number of ships present, including an invasion ship. We are to go up to the Bitter Lakes tomorrow & wait for several ships to pass down.
