30th December 1942
at 3 pm, but anyhow we continue to…
In the evening, the Chief Engineer, John & my humble self went to “London” at Margil cinema.
They put up a really excellent show. There were eleven performers, but among them was Fall’s pianist, Harry Falk, Hilton’s drummer & vibrophonist, & Frank Norris, comedian. Two women gave jam-session, song & dance. Some step dancing. The wonder was how they got there. Frank Norris was the jolliest personality met in a long time. It was pretty cold!
