We moved into dry dock today.

Worked all day in the W/T room.

Rioting came to a standstill. 31 people have been killed. Some shooting took place in that area. One Englishman was knifed an hour on either side of his nose in an attempt to blind him. He fell face downwards & was stabbed in the back. He is now in St. George’s hospital, near Alan.
