Apparently it is very unusual to have weather like this all the way across the Pacific. It hardly seems right to be in whites. At night time I can hear waves breaking over the side and smashing against my porthole.
The watches have changed once again, but it doesn’t make much difference.
I am fast becoming a proper old washer-woman. In fact that seems to take up most of my spare time.
One of the stewards told me that I had grown a lot taller and fatter, since I came on board.
It seems that we shall be in Panama about Sunday.
