25th November 1940

Snow has fallen again during the night, but the weather is still beautiful. We estimated that we could take on 48 cases of cars. Now, we have 70 on board, besides about 6,700 tns of grain (or more).

Everything is ready now for leaving at 7am.

Jock and I went to see “Escape”. There was a very good “March of Time”, about the R.A.F. It showed some amazing pictures which wouldn’t be allowed in England. Everybody is extremely patriotic here, and clap and cheer whenever a personality appears on the screen.

There have also been some good pictures of London in an air raid.
