BEEF
The wind rose today to practically gale force, and caused a rather unpleasant. We have been unable to go into Sydney, because if we did, the sea would be on our beam and we would roll badly. We tried it once, but immediately, a big sea came over and started shifting one of the 5 ton army lorries, lashed to the deck. Not wishing for more trouble like outward bound, the old man decided to cut down to ½ speed and run before the storm. We are now going along quite smoothly. “Chippy” and a sailor were hurt by a big sea.
