Early this morning, while I was on watch, a code message of 122 groups came through. When decoded, this message said that ship’s with 3 operators were to keep a continuous watch, and a double watch at certain periods. Ship’s with 2 operators were also to keep a double watch and when going in for another station, to put the auto on. As far as I can see, this will mean 6 hours on, and 6 off!

The reason why this order has been given, is that armed raiders are operating again.

Anyway, why worry. Because here we are just rounding Cape Wrath in the N. of Scotland, and the mountainous scenery is even better. What wouldn’t I give to be able to walk over there?
