10th April 1941

The weather today has been pretty miserable, owing to drizzling rain and a strong wind. One of the soldiers put on board for using the Lewis guns, was sick yesterday!

We have received four distress messages since yesterday afternoon.

The clocks have gone back a total of two hours now; each time they do this we have an extra 20 minutes put on our watch!

I had a slight touch of tooth ache this afternoon.

On the whole, things are pretty good and as I have plenty of drawing and reading to do, I am quite happy.
