We had to sign off and on without pay! The Engineer refused, but we three were in a hurry to get off and do some shopping prior to going to the 14.30 show of “Gone With the Wind,” which we eventually saw.

Number one bought a G.E.C. radio for 350 rupees! Loading is going full swing.
