The weather still continues to be windy and rough – if anything it’s worse. All the same the day has been pretty decent and was heralded by a lovely sunrise.

Little or no news has come through today – which is quite a relief! Every now and again, when I come off watch, and I am feeling spritely I suddenly sprint down the promenade deck for all I’m worth. The only trouble is that it’s a bit awkward now, because one minute you’re running up a steep hill, and the next minute you’re running down one – not only that, the decks are very slippery, because of the spray.

Our “lady” passenger came into lunch today in the most awful looking pair of slacks you ever saw. Uhh!!
