I sketched a Christmas Card for the Swansea depot this morning, & this afternoon took it up. Taylor was pretty busy, but I asked him to share some of the sweets out.

By chance, I met Mrs Taylor just leaving the office. He thought I’d really intended the sweets for Daphne! It was quite a time before I could convince him otherwise! Then he said, well there you are, you’d better explain. So I did. Then Daphne asked me home, so home i went! We had a very good time one way or another & I only just caught the last bus back.
