11th November 1944
I met Daphne Nash at about 1530 and we went to the Plaza Café as a place to sit in. They have some very comfortable settees arranged outside the entrance to the Balcony.
We chatted for some time about one thing and another, while people ‘queued’ up for their tea. When the queue had dispersed we had ours and then went to the Carlton to see “Up In Arms”. We had to queue for that at first. Her elder sister in the WAAF’s will be home on Monday night.
She has one sister older than herself, one brother older than herself and one sister and 2 brothers younger than herself.
