Very little has occurred today of any interest.
We reached Swansea in glorious weather, at about 1.15pm, but did not dock until 5.30pm. I had to fetch the crew’s dock passes. Swansea is really little more than a one street town, and is surrounded by hills. The Mumbles looks a far nicer spot, but is outside Swansea. It is chiefly a coal-cargo port, so nothing but coal tips are seen at the docks.
Little damage can be seen from air raids.
