And so we have finally sailed from Rotterdam after a very pleasant week. My impressions of Holland have now changed! Cleanliness does of course strike one at once, partly due to the use of brick instead of stone. The people seem very patriotic towards the allies, except perhaps in the lower classes. Standard of education seems to be good.

The girls, on the whole, are not attractive and have not very good figures but have lovely blonde hair!!

We sailed at 08 30 and will arrive at Antwerp this evening.
