Location
Newport, Wales
Age
22 Years

15th June 1945

Said goodbye to Cardiff for a bit. The third is ‘Samdry’ from xxx Island. He’s 17 years old. We travelled down to Newport this morning and signed on. No 1 is 19 and is Donald Loveday. The gear in the W/T room is good. We have separate accommodation and it’s pretty good. I have no table so will probably have to make one.
