Another holiday for the workmen. Jez haven’t ceased everywhere yet. Hope they will do so soon. XXX has been a broadcasting recordings of celebrations, etc., All day. Everybody is happy!

I went to Hemixem again tonight. There was a ship in at the time, and all the sailors were in the place. It was very amusing to hear their comments, they did not know I was English. They behave very stupidly.
