3rd March 1942
This morning has been mostly taken up with washing the decks clear of all the coal dust etc.
We left Ellesmere Port at about 9.30am.
The convoy conference will be held this afternoon.
We are to be the rear Commodore of the convoy. There are two other ships of this company coming with us. Both will be Comms.
The latest news is that we shall not sail until Thursday.
