As we are not signing off until Tuesday morning. I have got to hang about here, just doing nothing. I slept for 12 hours last night. I thought I might need it. Mr Salway and I went up to the office this afternoon. The place was packed, and we can do very little until Tuesday. In the evening I went to the pictures and quite enjoyed it. I find that Liverpool is not such a bad place after all, in spite of what some people say about it! It’s a funny feeling being so near to home, and yet so far. Still it won’t be long now. They tell me a German plane came over during the night.
