I went ashore in the launch at midday with No. 1’s gear. Afterward, the new 2nd Officer, the old one, & No. 1 & myself went to lunch at the Victoria Terminus Restaurant where we had chicken mayonnaise, etc.

In the evening John & I saw a film, & returned to the ship by Tong at 12.30 in the morning!
