We still haven’t sailed. For the last few days I have been pestered with jokes about buying the 2nd Mate a bottle of whisky for my birthday celebrations. The Old Man gave me a cake, so I had to “have a do”. Whisky & sodas were the order of the day, with beer & 5 A.L.’s—a good time was had by all.
