I was invited out again on Sunday to the Tetlow’s for today. I walked from Ambler to their house. It took me about an hour and ten minutes. The weather was perfect for walking and the country very similar to that at home – trees, fields and farms. Nearly everyone fainted when I said I had walked. They thought I was crazy!! I helped them sweep leaves and pull roots. I had a look at their pigs and cows, and walked over the “farm”. I felt wonderful. I more or less had to stay the night as we talked so long that I missed the last train!
