After a morning of indecision, we finally found that we would not be going to Heysham after all, but would be doing repairs in Swansea (about a week). In a rush, the 2nd Engineer and I decided to come home. We caught the 1445, but owing to snow, did not arrive at Paddington until 2300 hours. I got home at 0130 Sat.
