Arrived R al H at 10 am. Learned that sub. was a 2000 t job with 26 inch guns. Also, a Catalina aircraft bombed and almost certainly hit another. Old Man asked me to make a chart of the Ras al Hadd coastline. He was very nice about it all and got chippy to make me a table which I can use outside anywhere on his deck! Left in evening.
