2nd April 1944
We could just make out a few of the stragglers of the convoy when dawn broke. We managed to catch up with these eventually but the main convoy is still miles ahead.
We shall get in tomorrow afternoon. Visibility was so poor yesterday that the Commodore had to order the change of course by radio instead of flags or the morse lamp.
