STEW

The weather has been comparatively bright and sunny today, although the rolling has been quite bad.

It was announced on the wireless that 190,000 tons of British shipping were lost during last week. This includes the “Empress of Britain” of course, which accounts for roughly 40,000 tns.

We are now beginning to feel the effects of these 6 on 6 off watches. Sleep is always a welcome factor now!
