Most of us stayed aboard today but nevertheless had quite an enjoyable time. The new Mate, Mr Mee, from Bexley Heath, is a very nice fellow and mixes very well.

The “Empire Traveller” was torpedoed off Milford Haven a little while ago and now the ”Empire Cavalier” is supposed to have gone. Both these ships were coasting like ourselves.

An Anglo-Saxon tanker the “Sollum” was torpedoed off Milford Haven and is now beached just round the other side of Mumbles.
