Today seems to have flown even faster than I could have wished it to! This morning ‘Sparks’ and I did another account of wages. In the afternoon I went to the Marconi office to see to some stores. After, I did some drawing. The old man has been in a stew about not sailing. So have the Admiralty and the owners! Twelve other ships are held up because of the same thing. Roughly 96,000 tns. of cargo not being fetched! Jock has tried to pay off. He is not well. He is home-sick and hates the ship. Doctor says stay in bed till Tuesday.
