6th April 1942

Another scorching day for this time of year. The trees are just breaking out into a beautifully fresh green. I wish we could stay longer. Have been eating and drinking many things containing vitamins. Milk has been my chief drink. I have had a glass of orange juice every morning, and tomato juice whenever I felt like it!
