6th December 1940
We moved along side this afternoon, to take on ‘bunkers’ and the new life boats. I went ashore, but there was very little to see as Sydney town consists of about two streets.
It snowed a bit, and was very blowy. My mate and I started to make out the inventory for the Marconi company. The old man has recovered from his slight illness, and is still shouting as of old!
