We spent the day in discharging and saying goodbyes to the major and captain. Things have speeded up considerably here now. There are four new American cranes which helps a lot .

The old man says that we are going straight to Bombay and that he thinks we shall be converted into an invasion ship. This takes about five or six months and so we shall all be shifted. The other alternative is Middle East.
