Am gradually getting my impetigo under control. The weather has been calmer today than of late. The 5th Army has captured the town of Capua in Italy, N. of Naples, while the 8th Army is meeting stiff resistance on the Adriatic coast.

The food is still very poor.

We are now within range of G4DUG NI & SNA (Ladd’s & Niton, & North Foreland) — happy thought!
