We came alongside the RAF wharf at about 2 pm.

The weather has been considerably cooler than before, but there is a great difference between day and night temps.

Egypt – the eighth army still presses forward. In French West Africa, Vichy has told the French to resist, but an armistice was signed for Algiers which is now in Allied hands.

In the evening John and I went to see “The Great Profile” with John Barrymore and thought it was the most utter drivel ever!
